No matter what the problem, you can forge an effective recovery plan. Select a specific problems, clarify it, write a goal (what yu want you life to look like when the problem is solved), and set up a five to seven step action plan. Ask yourself this question. Would a reasonable person believe that of you completed the action the plan the problem would probably be solved.
Then ask THE RELAPSE PREVENTION QUESTION – what cold cause me to give up on trying to solve this problem?

1. What’s the “PROB” – Bob?
2. What’s the “GOAL” Joel?
3. What’s the “PLAN” – Stan?
